Terry Glassman
Terry was diagnosed with High-Risk Multiple Myeloma/Primary Plasma Cell Leukemia in November 2022. To date, Terry is in a very strong remission and has had her stem cells harvested but not yet transplanted.
Terry is an RN with a background in ICU and Cardiac Nursing. She feels her medical background has given her the ability to comprehend this difficult diagnosis relatively well and she wants to share that! Even with her village around her, it was still challenging in the beginning. She wants to empathize with patients going through this disease and help them understand. Terry started the Long Island Support Group in July 2024 and coaches MM Patients. This will be Terry’s 1st time at ASH and she looks forward to sharing what she learns
