ASH24 is over, but my head is still full of information, words, questions. I guess my biggest takeaway is how optimistic I am about the future of multiple myeloma (MM) treatment. I remember when I...
Barb Davis
Barb Davis was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2007. Barb has had 2 stem cell transplants and has been in remission since she had her 2nd transplant in 2014. Barb is married and has a daughter who also has a daughter, so the power of WoMMen is strong! When she was diagnosed 17 years ago and was given a 3-5 year prognosis, she could have never imagined that she would see her daughter get married, never mind bring her now 5-year-old granddaughter into the world. Barb leads the Stillwater MM Support Group and is a strong advocate of education for patients, even when the topic seems too advanced for those who are not doctors. Knowledge is power!
This is Barb’s 2nd time at ASH, and she plans to focus on R/R myeloma, as well as MGUS.

New Words: I Feel Smarter Already!
The first day is kind of a beginner's day, with a number of Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses/presentations. I went to two: The first was Championing the Care of Relapsed/Refractory...
Hit the Ground Running!
We’ve already had several meetings with our IMF teams and pharma partners. I’ve also been following two of my favorite myeloma docs: Dr. Vincent Rajkumar (@VincentRK) and Dr. Joe Mikhael...
